Alessandra Ambrosio is having a great week. Not only did she launch a new campaign with Brazilian shoe retailer Schutz, but she’s also bringing her very own apparel collection to boho-chic retailer Planet Blue! The ále by Alessandra lifestyle brand marks the first fashion line created by the supermodel, embodying an eclectic Brazil meets Malibu aesthetic. Designed and curated by Ambrosio in conjunction with Planet Blue, the Spring 2014 collection is set to launch at Planet Blue retail locations and online March 17th.
“I cannot think of a better place to launch the apparel for my brand,” says Ambrosio. “I have been a fan of Planet Blue since I moved to California, and the brand’s authentic bohemian beach vibe is the perfect backdrop for my very first collection.”
Expect to find long flowing skirts, dresses short and long, flowing blouses and unique knits in Ambrosio’s effortlessly, feminine collection. Ambrosio, a stickler for fabrics, paid close attention to the feel and flow of materials, ensuring that all pieces were soft and well crafted. Details include include hand-dyed tie-dye, embroidery, laser cut and pure silks, as well as prints such as paisley, floral and feathers. Price points range from $60 to $260, making it the perfect price point for all of your springtime needs!

True to the feel of the collection, the ále by Alessandra Spring 2014 brand campaign was shot in the desert in Southern California. Conceptualized by Ambrosio herself, the location served as the perfect backdrop for the effortlessly chic line.
