It seems everyone’s gone girly for the 2012 SAG Awards. Ariel Winter, Michelle Williams,Emma Stone, and Amber Riley all gussied up their red carpet dresses with a little (or a lot) of lace. Ariel opted for a rhinestone and bejeweled grey, sweetheart neckline Collette Dinnigan dress. The fitted bodice was paired with a full, layered, tea-length lace skirt and she wore her hair down in shiny, loose waves to complement the textural appeal. She finished her look with some glittery (and age appropriate) Miu Miu pumps, which, um, haiii, we want now. Plus, how cute would it be to cop this look from prom? Think about it. Michelle Williams stunned in a fiery red, curve-hugging Valentino gown and matching shoes. The bias-cut, single strapped dress features only a touch of lace around her shoulders for an elegant-yet-sultry cap-sleeve effect. Note that she is wearing almost NO accessories and minimal makeup. A power move for letting her crimson dress do all the talking.
Emma Stone bowled us over in her black, ruffled-lace corseted Alexander McQueen gown. Her sleek, deep side-parted bouffant, pink pout, strong cat eye, and poofy tea-length skirt is undeniably inspired by the ’50s but a gold, knuckle-duster McQueen clutch adds a badass edge and modernizes the look. Glee‘s Amber Riley went bold with a massive bow on her pink and black Badgley Mischka lace dress. She nailed the look by keeping her body-conscious gown close to her curves and by wearing subtle accessories.
