A judge has ordered Cash Money Records CEO Birdman to turn over financial records to Lil Wayne’s lawyers in their ongoing legal battle, according to TMZ.
According to TMZ reports a judge has given Birdman 30 days to turn over two years worth of financial documents which were missing from their initial submission.
Lil Wayne is reportedly demanding clarity on how over $70 million out of a $100 million cash Young Money cash advance was spent without his knowledge. According to Weezy, the cash advance from Universal was supposed to be split 50/50 according to their distribution deal.
The update is only the latest in the messy relations between Lil Wayne and his record label and former father figure Birdman.
