G.O.O.D Music artist Common revealed in an interview earlier this week with late night host Jimmy Fallon that he will be working on multiple projects which he plans on releasing later on this year.
He said, “I’m coming out with an EP at the end of this month that will be accompanying the movie “LUV”. And then I got a mix tape, my first mix tape I ever done in my life, will be coming out in April. And then an album in September.”
The album, which is to be released in September, will be the tenth studio album for the rapper-actor.
Common also revealed details about his new film that he produced. “It’s a coming of age story for an inner city kid who actually goes out with his uncle for a day,” he shared. “His uncle wants to show him the good parts of life but he ends up teaching him how to be a man and shows him the good and the bad.”
“LUV” will be in theatres on January 18th.
