First trailer for ‘Beasts of No Nation’ with Idris Elba

Netflix’s Beasts of No Nation is intense look into the life of an African child soldier during a civil war.

Directed by Cary Fukunaga, Idris Elba’s character forces the boy to choose between killing the man in front of him who possibly killed his family or let him run away with his life.

The film is based on Uzodinma Iweala’s 2005 novel of the same name. It will be one of the first Netflix original films to stream in the near future and will begin streaming on October 16. It will also premiere in select theatres across the U.S. including New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington D.C. that same day. The film will also debut at the Venice Film Festival and screen at the Toronto International Film Festival.
