The World and Olympic 100-metre champion is the fastest woman in the world this year.
She has recorded three of the five fastest times in the world over the distance this year, setting a world-leading time on each occasion.
She won at the IAAF Diamond League meeting in Eugene in 10.81, then improved to 10.79 to win the Jamaican title before clocking 10.74 to win at the IAAF Diamond League meeting in Paris earlier this month.
Irina Privalova’s stadium and meeting record of 10.90 could be in real danger.
“Shelly-Ann leads the Diamond Race and I’m sure she’ll relish the chance to extend that lead with a victory at Stockholm Bauhaus Athletics,” said meeting director Anders Tallgren.
“The stadium record of 10.90 from 1994 is attainable and if she gets it she will receive a diamond,”Talgren further said.
