Gogol Cultural Center opens in Rome

The Nikolai Gogol Cultural Center opens in Rome on Saturday, a project that was earlier initiated by an international association which established a money prize named after the great Russian writer.

The goal of the Gogol Center is to popularize the Russian literature among Italians.

The center is expected to become a venue for poetry readings, music festivals and art exhibitions to be attended by masters of the arts from all across the world.
