The wait is finally over, Roc Nation rapper J. Cole, who promised back in November that he would be dropping his sophomore album in January, has released a free EP after that date was scrapped.
Cole announced that he had four albums worth of music and decided to share some of the extra tracks. He posted a letter to his website where he explains that his songs are, “in their raw form, no polish… just a lot of my soul.”
He thanked his fans for their patience and revealed that his first single will be announced later this week.
