Rita Ora performed a sold out show Monday night (December 17) in NYC at the Highline Ballroom. After rescheduling her show due to Hurricane Sandy, the blonde bombshell took the house down with Jay-Z, Wale and Big Sean sitting in VIP cheering her on.
Not only did she perform hits off of her debut album ORA, but she also covered Kendrick Lamar’s “Swimming Pools (Drank).” It was pretty clear from her Twitter that she was excited to belt out her songs to the NYC crowd last night.
“Hello I’ll see you at the Highline Ballroom tonight at 9!!! make sure I see you NYC! #imexcited” and later she added, “This was the best moment of last night for me singing right there with u #fair,” she tweeted with a picture of her crooning to the crowd.
The Roc Nation singer also addressed her VIP guests by shouting them out on Twitter. “Last night, u know u good when u got ur boys wit u wale bigsean .#NYC yeahboiiii.” “I duno why I can’t stop talkin about last night it was amazing especially when you got your big brother with you @S_C_,” she tweeted, referring to the head honcho of Roc Nation.
Rita is closing out 2012 with a bang and entering 2013 with her “Radioactive Tour” alongside Iggy Azalea that kicks off January 28 in the U.K.
