Green juice now, champagne later–that’s just one motto from Juicy Couture’s serious 2014 commitment to fitness. With the launch of their new Juicy Sport line just a few weeks ago, Juicy Couture is following in the footsteps of other retail brands such as H&M, Old Navy, and JC Penney, by throwing their hat (gloves) in the ring and taking a one-two punch at athletic wear.
To help spread the world, Juicy enlisted the help of a few blogger babes to model the collection, one of which was StyleBlazer favorite Aimee Song of Song of Style. Aimee dished on her favorite new workouts (SoulCycle and hot yoga), gym etiquette–to selfie or not to selfie (do it!), and her workout song of the moment, Juicy J’s “Show Off.”
On Song of Style, Aimee got into a bit more detail about her why she works out, saying “One of the questions I get asked the most is how do I eat as much as I do and still manage to stay fit. I do eat a lot, and yes, I do eat everything that I post. Some people work out to stay in shape, some people work out because it makes them feel good. Well, I joke (and also quite mean it) to my friends that I work out so that I can eat all the delicious food I want.” We totally feel you there, Aimee. She goes on to say, “ I’m so glad that Juicy came out with Juicy Sport, full of cute work out clothes, my favorite being the leopard pieces!”
She’s right about the clothes, too. The whole line really takes the cheeky, youthful feel of Juicy Couture and channels that energy into fun fitness looks. Juicy Sport includes jackets, tops, sports bras, swim wear, shorts and pants, and accessories.
