Katie Couric is coming back to your morning schedule – but quickly.
The TV symbol will visitor have Today in January for a week, assuming control for Savannah Guthrie while she’s on maternity leave, as indicated by Deadline.
Couric’s brief gig – rejoining her with Matt Lauer – commences Jan. 2.
Before proceeding onward to CBS Evening News – which she tied down until 2011 – Couric was Today’s co-stay from 1991–2009. The 59-year-old is presently Yahoo’s worldwide newscaster.
Guthrie respected her second tyke, Charles Max Feldman, on Dec. 8. The grapple and her better half Michael Feldman likewise share 2-year-old little girl, Vale.
Said Guthrie of her new expansion: “It’s been incredible. He’s a decent little eater and the previous evening, we had an incredible night — we had two three-hour extends of rest.”
She included a Today talk with, “I feel like my family is finished and we’re so upbeat.”
