A little over a month has passed since Beyonce and Destiny’s Child performed at the Superbowl and wooed many with their great halftime show. However, the chatter surrounding criticisms made by Keyshia Cole directed towards Michelle Williams’ performance still have many talking.
Williams’ band mate Kelly Rowland has voiced her opinion for the first time since Cole made the negative comments. She told RollingStone.com, “It didn’t even matter. We had a wonderful performance, and that’s all I cared about. I was with my sisters and the three of us matter to each other, and that’s all that counts.”
She added, “We matter to a lot more people, with all due respect, than her. So, I really don’t care what she said.”
Rowland, a member of the trio that makes up the girl group “Destiny’s Child,” is no stranger to criticism of her or the group. Williams has still not commented, seeming to simply ignore Cole’s comments.
