Kobe Bryant ended up with one more ring after his final season in the NBA.
The Los Angeles Lakers showed their appreciation for the legendary player by gifted him with a great big, gaudy, bling-a-rific piece of jewelry. The ring, according to a spokesperson for jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills, has a total weight of 4.87 carats set in about 70 grams of 14 karat yellow and white gold. There are five large diamonds, one for each championship team Bryant played on, and 20 smaller ones for his 20 seasons. His two jersey numbers are on the sides along with his “Black Mamba” nickname and, according to USA Today, a “strip of snake skin.”
