The streets of London were packed yesterday as thousands of people turned out in the rain to celebrate the Chinese New Year in central London.
Starting at Trafalgar Square, the parade featured floats and beating drums as they headed towards Chinatown. Over 100 renowned acts including singers, dancers and musicians performed to welcome the Year of The Snake.
Patrons were also treated to the Flying Lion Dance before the National Gallery. Chinatown also hosted a number of activities with traditional craft and food stalls lining the streets.
The day’s activities ended with a display of fireworks.
