Meek Mill emerged victorious at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, as the rapper walked away with the Top Rap Album of the Year award for Dreams Worth More Than Money.

In what could be described as the surprise of the night Meek beat out Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly, Dr. Dre’s Compton, Drake and Future’s What a Time to Be Alive and Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, to reign supreme.

Despite his nemesis’ victory rapper Drake did walk away with another big award. Drizzy won big, earning the Top Rap Artist Award, While The Weeknd dominated the R&B catagories taking home 8 awards.
