Michael Kors And Halle Berry Team Up For UN World Food Program

Top designer Michael Kors and Oscar winner Halle Berry have teamed up on a campaign with the United Nations World Food Program in attempts to end world hunger.

Kors will be creating two limited edition watches in order to raise money for the “Watch Hunger Stop” campaign. Twenty-five dollars of each sale will be donated; in addition to the monetary donation, each time a watch is sold 100 meals will also be provided for hungry children around the world.

Halle Berry was chosen to model the pieces because of her heavy involvement in charitable organizations, having previously raised awareness and funds for diabetes, cancer and domestic abuse. In a statement released, Kors said, “I could not be more excited about Halle Berry’s decision to join me in fighting hunger, she brings talent, energy, generosity, and of course star power to a cause that is extremely important to me,” he continues, “I’m grateful that she has joined our effort and thrilled that we will be working side by side to end hunger”.

The watches have been produced in gold and silver, with the face portraying an image of the globe.
