Monroe’s hoarse version of the birthday melody has been communicate over and over since, adding to the legend encompassing the screen symbol.
It was only a couple of months after the fact on Aug. 5, that the 36-year-old Monroe was discovered dead from what the Los Angeles lead prosecutor’s office ruled was an overdose of barbiturates.
