Hip-Hop star Nas has announced the winner of a design contest for his New Year’s Eve performance in New York City.
Earlier in the month, Nas announced a contest for graphic designers to create a poster for the event, which is taking place at Radio City Music Hall.
The rapper took to Twitter , to announce that artist Romain Vendé and his submission “Evergreen” was the winning submission.
“Congrats to Romain, I personally selected his design as the winner,” Nas said. “Thank you to every artist who submitted a design, and to everyone who voted.”
100 autographed copies of “Evergreen” will be sold at Radio City Music Hall and 50% of the profits will be donated towards the Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund.
