Recalled O.J. Simpson Book Up For Auction on E-bay

An original copy of O.J. Simpson’s hypothetical tell-all confessional book, “If I Did It” is reportedly up for grabs to the highest bidder on eBay for $250,000.

In November 2006, 400,000 copies of the book were printed. Shortly after its release, the publishers were hit with a largely negative response from the public. As a result, the remaining copies were recalled and destroyed.

There are several copies of the book that still exist. The original publisher, News Corporation has a copy. In 2007, a copy of the book was auctioned off for $65,000 on eBay.

The auction for this copy closes at the end of next month. The listing states that full payment of the $250,000 is required within 48 hours of the auction ending.

Simpson is a retired football coach and actor. He is currently serving a prison term after being charged for kidnapping and armed robbery stemming from a September 2007 incident.
