Last year Romeo Miller found himself in the middle of a nasty financial battle and divorce war between his parents Master P and Sonya Miller.
It was reported Sonya filed a lawsuit against her own son alleging her husband used the rapper-turned-actor’s properties to hide money she requested in a spousal agreement.
Though the Growing Up Hip Hop reality star addressed his parents’ very messy andpublic divorce in the month following the lawsuit, he’s now speaking out on going through the motions of being sued by his mom.
Snapping a photo of himself sitting outside of the courtroom, the 26-year-old Brotherly Love star blasted his mother’s attorneys, while simultaneously asserting his love for her.
“Today I should’ve been in bed resting/rehabbing my hip but instead I was in court all morning due to my mother’s greedy lawyers (fyi although I’m being sued by my mom I still love her more than anything on this planet),” he wrote.
He continued, “We all are going through something that is gonna make us a lot stronger one day, but I just want to remind you that #greed has taken the whole universe, and nobody is worried about their soul. Money will tempt you. Money will turn you into a slave. Money will corrupt the people around you. But most importantly, money will come and go!”
The young star ended his post with a quote from Mahatma Gandhi, saying, “Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not every man’s greed.”
