Snoop Lion’s “Reincarnated” Album Set To Drop in April

Rap artist turned reggae star, Snoop Lion is getting ready for the release of his new album Reincarnated. The upcoming album contains heavy influences of reggae and dancehall while enlisting Chris Brown, Rita Ora and Drake as various collaborating artists.

The Diplo and Major Lazer production will be available for pre-order on iTunes April 2nd. Apart from appearances from Brown, Ora and Drake, other artists featured include T.I., Busta Rhymes, Akon as well as dancehall superstars Popcaan and Movado. Some tracks off the album include “Lighters Up,” “Here Comes the King,” “La, La, La,” “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,” “Harder Times,” and “No Guns Allowed.”

Snoop had this to say about his upcoming album: “We were searching for true reggae music and the message of peace and hope it reflects”. He continues, “It’s so much a part of who I am, and this record is all about paying homage and giving respect to those who created and love reggae music, and hopefully introducing it to a whole new audience. I feel truly honored to make this album and respect to all who blazed the path for me.”
