Chicago rapper Chief Keef just can’t seem to keep out of trouble. The 17 year old was reportedly arrested again, this time for driving 110 mph in a 55 mph zone in Northfield Illinois.
Keef, born Keith Cozart was reportedly pulled over in his 2011 BMW X6 early yesterday morning. According to reports he had three passengers in the car which is a violation as a permit only allows him one.
Cozart was kept in custody while the vehicle was released in the possession of one of the passengers. This latest incident is the latest in a series of arrests and legal problems that have been plaguing the rapper. Just a week ago Cozart was arrested for disorderly conduct and smoking marijuana in a hotel room.
In March he completed a 60-day sentence for a probation violation stemming from a 2013 gun charge. In 2011 he was placed under house arrest twice for charges including heroine manufacture and distribution. He also faced charges of aggravated assault with a firearm on a law enforcement officer, along with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and resisting arrest.
