The Young, Gifted, and Black (YGB) Entrepreneurial Awards scheduled to occur Sunday, July 14th, 2013 in New York City will be postponed until February 2014 during its original time period within Black History Month.
The YGB Entrepreneurial Awards over the years is heavily supported by the public and private contributions from tickets, advertisement buys in the business journal and sponsorships to produce this elegant black tie event. After reviewing certain key factors which led to making this decision, it’s definitely in the best interest of the YGB Entrepreneurial Awards Program to hold its celebration at this later date and remain consistent with program’s initial launch centered on paying tribute to those “Unsung Hero’s” who strive for the “Continue Pursuit of Success”.
Again, the original date was moved from June 12th, 2013 to July 14th 2013 impacting several of the honorees and their guest’s commitment towards attending the event. The YGB Entrepreneurial Awards extends a sincere apology to everyone affected by this decision but we are required to produce a quality event for our honorees which prompted our decision to change the date.
Honorees do have an opportunity to receive the award this year by having it presented to them at their place of business. Arrangements must be made 30 days in advance. More information will be posted on the YGB Entrepreneurial Awards website www.ygbwards.com
