Thousands attend church with Donald Trump on Easter

Secret Service monitored Easter services at Palm Beach, Fla.’s Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea on Sunday when GOP front-runner Donald Trump observed the holiday.

The line to get into Bethesda-by-the-Sea on Sunday.

Spies said hundreds lined up at the church, where airport-style security measures were installed, including metal detectors. Trump arrived with wife Melania and son Barron, in a suit matching his dad’s.

“There was so much traffic, I have never seen anything like it in all my years,” said a local. “All of Palm Beach was forced through metal detectors and bag searches on Easter Sunday.”

The service was so packed, some watched via video simulcast.

Besides the agents in black vests with wands, there were Transportation Security Administration screeners checking bags.

Perhaps ironically during the heated campaign season, the Rev. James Harlan noted during the service that “the real world is not divided into winners and losers,” according to the Palm Beach Daily News.

Spies told Page Six that the Trumps later headed to lunch at Mar-a-Lago, where they were met with applause.
