Valentine’s Day is fast approaching (next Tuesday, eek!), so it’s time to get that lovey-dovey nail art in order. If you don’t have time to bust out those designer skills in time for V-Day (thanks to a little thing called NYFW), don’t worry, you’re still in luck! We’ve gathered the best heart-themed nail stickers that will totally impress your S.O. without all the hard work. We scoured the interwebs for all-things heart-themed and came up with five designs we think are TOTALLY stellar for a fancy dinner date, a night in watching rom-coms, or hanging with your girls—or even all three! But don’t blame us if you never want to go back to painting your nails again.
Nail stickers take so much less time to apply (and to dry!) than traditional polish, and they last the full 10 days no matter what kind of shenanigans you get your hands into. First up is our old standby—Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips in “Speed Dating.” Sally’s strips are the BEST. We’ve tested them firsthand and, boy, do they stay on forever. The cartoon-y pinkish hearts are perfect for a super girly gal, and they’re on sale for $8.99. Score! Next up: Incoco’s “Heart To Heart” printed strips. This design is for the foodies who can’t get enough of the sweet stuff and want to sport cute pastel candy hearts on their tips. The only downside: They make us hungry. If you want some straightforward, no-nonsense heart art, go for Nail Fraud’s white and red design. So simple and chic, it’s kiinndaa hard not to fall in love. For the glitter-loving gals, try Incoco’s “Change of Heart” design. Both pink and red hearts fill your nails for an intricate mini masterpiece. Lastly, (our most favorite design!!!) Nail Fraud’s “Heart on the Line” strips. We like how these are a little edgier than the other polish strips and aren’t too over-the-top pink. The stripes of black are perfect for the New Yorkers in us all.
Once you’ve picked out your design, follow our five easy steps for application, and voilà! You’re done. You’ve officially nailed your Valentine’s Day look without all the hard work. (But shh, don’t tell anyone.)
