51-year-old actor Wesley Snipes has been released from prison after serving a three-year sentence stemming from a tax evasion charge.
The actor was released on April 2 and has been transferred to the New York Community Corrections Office, which is in charge of his house imprisonment. Snipes, an A-list actor, was sent to a maximum-security prison in 2010 for tax evasion. He has starred in hits such as the ”Blade” franchise, “Brooklyn’s Finest” and “White Men Can’t Jump.”
There is no word as yet if the actor will return to the big screen when his house arrest ends on July 19.
