What Do You Think of These Custom Made Brother Vellies Shoes?

Hand crafted by eight men in Swakopmund, Namibia, Brother Vellies oxford shoes are made from Kudu Leather. The Kudu is a native antelope in the region.

These uniquely hand crafted shoes are very stylish. Although very little is done to the natural texture of the shoes that are crafted from these Kudu, you do not have to worry about the killing of the Kudu’s. According to an information page for the line, “the Namibian government mandates the culling of these large native antelope to control their population.”

The shoes are sold through a specific website, you should note also that these eight cordwainers only make 20 pairs of shoes daily.

See some of the styles here and tell us what you think.
