Whitney Houston’s drug habit has often been blamed on her husband Bobby Brown. However, recently in an interview with Oprah Winfrey the late singer’s brother, Michael Houston, made the shocking revelation that he was the one to introduce cocaine to the infamous singer.

It has been almost a year since the singer’s passing, her brother made his first televised appearance since the funeral. Michael confessed that he was the first person to do crack cocaine with his famous sister back in the 80’s.  In the interview he said; “You gotta understand at the time…the ’80s…it was acceptable,” he explained, “its painful…I feel responsible for what I let go so far.”

Michael also admitted to initially turning to drugs since his sister’s death to help him cope, however, he has been clean for the past 3 months.
