“Zero Dark Thirty” Tops Box Office With $24 Million


“Zero Dark Thirty,” the re-telling of the ten-year man hunt for Osama bin Laden, has captured the No.1 spot at the box office charts over the weekend, with a total of $24 million in U.S. and Canadian ticket sales.


The film, which stars Jessica Chastain as a dogged CIA agent, surpassed “A Haunted House” which earned $18.8 million as well as “Gangster Squad.”
